This October and November, Daniil Trifonov performs European solo recitals in seven cities and six countries. He spotlights a program of works by Scriabin, Beethoven, and Prokofiev.
On October 27, Daniil makes his way to the Oslo Opera House. He performs Scriabin’s Etude in C-sharp minor, 2 Poèmes, 8 Etudes, Etude in D-sharp minor, and Sonata No. 9. He contrasts the composer’s pieces with Beethoven’s Piano Sonata No. 31, and Prokofiev’s Piano Sonata No. 8.
He then appears at the Philharmonie de Paris (October 29), Southbank Centre (October 31), and the Concertgebouw (November 3).
In Brussels, he performs at Flagey on November 5, before concluding the tour in Germany (Leipzig on November 7, Cologne on November 10).
