This March, Daniil Trifonov joins Michael Tilson Thomas and the San Francisco Symphony for a European tour, performing Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No. 4. 

The tour begins at London’s Southbank Centre on March 22, featuring Daniil performing Rachmaninoff as well as the UK premiere of John Adams’ I Still Dance and Stravinsky’s Firebird Suite.

The orchestra then travels to Germany, performing Rachmaninoff, Stravinsky, and MTT’s own composition, Street Song for Symphonic Brass at the Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg (March 25) and the Berliner Philharmonie (March 26). The tour concludes with one final concert at the Wiener Konzerthaus on March 28, performing Rachmaninoff, Stravinsky, and MTT.
