For his final performances of 2018, Daniil Trifonov joins the Orchestra dell’Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia to highlight Rachmaninoff’s Third Piano Concerto. With conductor Antonio Pappano, they perform in Rome and then embark on an Asian tour to South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and China.
From November 8-10, Daniil and the orchestra first perform in Rome at the Sala Santa Cecilia. The programs also hear Glinka’s Ruslan and Ludmila Overture and Tchaikovsky’s Fourth Symphony.
As the first stop of their Asia tour, Daniil and the orchestra perform at the Seoul Arts Center (November 15).
They then appear at the Taipei National Concert Hall (November 20) and the Hong Kong Cultural Art Centre (November 22).
In China, Daniil and the orchestra travel to Dalian (November 26), Beijing (November 27), and Shanghai (November 29).
