With the October 6 release of Daniil Trifonov’s fourth studio album Chopin Evocations on Deutsche Grammophon, October sees the young pianist’s return to Europe. There, he performs the Chopin recital repertoire in Spain at L’Auditori Barcelona (Oct 4) and Alicante’s Teatro Principal (Oct 19), in Italy at Conservatorio Giuseppe Verdi in Milan (Oct 17) and Turin (Oct 18), and in Luxembourg at the Philharmonie (Oct 21).

Carnaval is also heard on Trifonov’s upcoming Europe recital tour this October.

In Madrid, Trifonov joins the Spanish National Orchestra and conductor Antonio Méndez to perform Strauss’s Burlesque for Piano and Orchestra (Oct 6-8). Several days later in Munich, Trifonov features this piece in an all-Strauss program with Mariss Jansons and the Symphonieorchester des Bayerischen Rundfunks (Oct 12 & 13).
