Daniil Trifonov‘s latest album release, Destination Rachmaninov: Arrival, which features Rachmaninov’s Piano Concertos Nos. 1 & 3, is out today. The recording completes Daniil’s cycle of the composer’s Piano Concertos on Deutsche Grammophon. 

Arrival includes Trifonov’s own transcriptions of Rachmaninov’s beloved Vocalise, and virtuosic “The Silver Sleigh Bells.” Accompanying Daniil on the album is The Philadelphia Orchestra, conducted by Yannick Nézet-Séguin.
