In April, Daniil Trifonov embarks on a tour of South Korea, Taiwan, and Japan with two recital programs. Trifonov begins the tour in Seoul with two recitals programs. On April 1 at Lotte Concert Hall, he performs “Decades,” a concert that explores the 20th century one decade at a time, from Alban Berg to John Corigliano, Then, on April 2 at Seoul Arts Center, he performs a program featuring Beethoven’s “Hammerklavier” sonata alongside music by Rameau, Mozart, and Mendelssohn. He repeats this program at the Bucheon Arts Center (April 5), followed by stops at the Taipei National Concert Hall (April 7 & 9), Tokyo’s Suntory Hall (April 11) and Kioi Hall (April 12), and Osaka’s Izumi Hall on April 14.
