Daniil Trifonov releases a new double album on Deutsche Grammophon on October 6, titled Chopin Evocations. On the Polish composer, Trifonov says: “Chopin speaks to everyone in a very personal way because he evokes emotions in us.”
This new release celebrates Chopin’s power to move and his influence upon other great composers including Schumann, Tchaikovsky, Grieg, Barber and Mompou.
For his 2017-2018 season, Trifonov brings his focus on Chopin to performances in Asia, Europe, and North America, among which include three Perspectives concerts at Carnegie Hall.
