This spring, Daniil Trifonov joins the Cleveland Orchestra and conductor Franz Welser-Möst on tour in China, Taiwan, and Macau. In these performances, Daniil spotlights Beethoven’s Fifth Piano Concerto, the “Emperor.”
On March 28, Daniil and the orchestra commence their tour at the National Concert Hall in Taipei. They then appear at the Macau Culture Centre on March 31. These performances also spotlight symphonic works by Tchaikovsky and Prokofiev.
In China, Daniil first performs at Shenzhen’s Concert Hall (April 3), followed by Shanghai Symphony Hall (April 6), the Nanjing Poly Grand Theatre (April 8) and Wuhan’s Qintai Grand Theatre (April 10). Finally, on April 12, Daniil concludes his tour at the National Centre for the Performing Arts in Beijing.
