Continuing 18/19 Residency with Berliner Philharmoniker

5.Jan.2019

In 2019, Daniil Trifonov continues his residency with the Berliner Philharmoniker.

On January 6, Daniil reunites with baritone Matthias Goerne. The duo explores love, longing, loss, and death through the music of Berg, Schumann, Wolff, Shostakovich, and Brahms.

Daniil presents a solo recital at the Philharmonie in February. Onstage, he highlights his program of Beethoven, Schumann, and Prokofiev (February 21).

From June 20-22, he joins the Berliner Philharmoniker and Andris Nelsons. Together, they present the Scriabin Piano Concerto in F-sharp minor.

To complete his residency, Daniil revisits the chamber setting with Daniel Stabrawa, Christian Stadelmann, Amihai Grosz, and Bruno Delepelaire. On the program are Schumann’s Fantasy Pieces for Cello and Piano and Brahms’s Piano Quintet in F minor, as well as Daniil’s own Piano Quintet (June 23).
