On November 15, Daniil Trifonov presents the New York premiere of his Piano Concerto at Carnegie Hall. As the second installment of his “Perspectives” Series, the evening hears Daniil with the Mariinsky Orchestra and Valery Gergiev following their Kennedy Center performance on November 12. Daniil made his Carnegie Hall debut with Gergiev in 2015. Also on the program are R. Strauss’s Don Juan and Prokofiev’s Symphony No. 6.
For the second half of November, Daniil travels to Germany (Herkulessaal, Tonhalle Düsseldorf, Elbphilharmonie, Alte Oper Frankfurt) Austria (Wiener Konzerthaus), and Switzerland (Lucerne Festival).
